Microsoft announced earlier this month that it will release Office 15 applications for Windows 8 on ARM devices. And a preview of what Microsoft Office 15 will look like has been revealed. Although the software suite is scheduled to appear as a public beta this summer, it is predicted by many people to come by the end of 2012.
Microsoft Office 15 is said to feature a lot of controversial changes, including the updated Windows logo and a new "Charms bar" for the advantage of the tried and true Start menu. Microsoft is also including a button in each of its Office 15 apps that enables a “touch mode.” The beta will run using the classic desktop interface instead of the "Metro-style" touch experience. Office 15 will still be a familiar one because it also features chromed borders and the menu system that we see in Office 2007 and Office 2010. In contrast, Microsoft's next version of Office will run programs in a flat full-screen mode that activates Touch Mode.
Windows 8 and its radically new touch-centric Metro interface, Office 15, make an excited thing. Office 15’s “touch mode" button is designed to add user interface support for devices that may not have Windows 8's touch capabilities.
Some screenshots of Microsoft's Office 15 have appeared online. Let’s have a look at pictures as following to see an early technical preview of Windows 8's Office 15:
