While the release date, specifications and features of iPhone 5 are still unknown, rumors said that Apple’s next generation smartphone was set to be available on more networks including on both T-Mobile and Sprint on top of existing carriers AT&T and Verizon in the U.S. Piper Jaffray tech analyst, Chris Larsen, has added the ever growing speculation of iPhone 5 recently. As we all know, the Apple’s iOS operating system is currently beaten in the market by Google’s Android system. As a consequence, Google occupies a large number of Android users than Apple does. While the handsets themselves still bring great profit to tech companies, Apple is trying to expand the reach by taking advantage of Sprint and T-Mobile. Piper Jaffray analyst Chris Larsen also states, “Our belief is that if Apple is already going through the trouble to make a device that has the ability to work on both major network technologies, why not include all the necessary spectrum bands to make one device work on all carriers.”

The launch of the iPhone 5 would be a historic event in technology industry with multiple carriers and expected sales day of epic proportions

By the end of 2011, the fifth generation iPhones is expected to sell over 25 million units by the Wall Street Journal which would increase Apple’s market by 30 per cent
