Apple Changes iOS 5.0.2 Release Date, iPhone 4s Problems Remain

in Technology

iOS 5.0.2, which Apple promises to be released this week as a remedy for the battery life issues, has been suspended longer. According to German tech site Macerkopf, it is claimed that iOS 5.0.2 complements the release of iOS 5.0.1 and requires more testing before it can be released. The iOS 5.0.2 is rumored to offer 10 hours of active use, 200 hours of standby time, up to 8 hours of 3G talk time, 6 hours of 3G Internet use, 10 hours of video playback, or 40 hours of audio playback.

The future update is made in response to the large number of complaints customers have made about the poor battery life on the iPhone 4S. In addition, the device that presumably works in a more effective way than iOS 5.0.1 is set to patch the issues around the battery draining problem on iPhone 4. The update is also supposedly set to address included minor problems with Documents in iCloud and some other niggling little problems with the iPhone 4S.

The official update from Apple was never at said, but rumors persist that iPhone software update 5.0.2 would be coming this week. It turns out that the iPhone 5.0.2 debut was delayed for further time. The main reason behind the delay in launching is iOS 5.0.2 memory leak issues
